A rep for TLC‘s Chilli is denying a published report that the singer is dating Let’s Make A Deal host Wayne Brady
Us Weekly published a report saying the pair were spotted holding hands Friday night when TLC performed at the MGM in Las Vegas and she also brought Wayne up on stage. An unnamed source told the magazine, “They’ve been friends for years but there has always been this flirtation. Both of them had a hard time being single, so they love dating a friend and someone in the business.”
But a rep for the singer tells E! that the report is not true. “Wayne was actually hosting the event that TLC performed at in Vegas. Chilli and Wayne are friends but there is nothing else going on besides friendship,” the rep says.
Chilli’s rep added that there is a celebrity she would like to date, Chris Pine, who starred as Captain James T. Kirk last year in Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek in 2009. “As a matter of fact, Chilli happens to be a ‘Pine Nut’,” the rep stated, “so if you all want to play matchmaker, Chris Pine is definitely what Chilli wants.”
Brady also denied he was involved with Chilli, tweeting, “So, just clear it up @officialchilli n I r are not dating. Who wouldn’t want to though, right? Don’t believe everything u read.”
