TLC’s T-Boz and Chili reveal they’ve both said heck no to Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives’ of Atlanta

by

ABC/Heidi GutmanAs fans start to wonder who will be tapped for the next season of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta, two ATL stars say they want nothing to do with the reality show franchise.

In an interview with Entertainment TonightTionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomasreveal that Bravo reached out to them numerous times about joining the series.

“I have,” Chilli told ET, asked if she’d been asked to join the cast. T-Boz then added, “I have too, four times.”

However, Chilli was quick to clarify that she wants nothing to do with the project, saying, “Heck no!” when asked if she would ever sign on.

T-Boz says she also refused, but gave more of an explanation.

“I did [a cameo] for Kandi [Burruss] one time,” T-Boz said, before adding, “This is the thing: I don’t play like that. Like, I’m not arguing, I’m too old to be arguing and first of all, I don’t argue with nobody I don’t care about.”

She continued, “If I care about you, I will take the time to do this. But I’m not arguing with no grown women. I’ll end up going to jail for real. Like, I don’t do that.”

“And I wouldn’t be able to bail her out because I would be right there with her,” Chilli joked.

But on a serious note, the two singers explain that they aren’t interested in the series because they “have a brand to protect and there is just no way” that they could realistically be a part of that world.
