Toni Braxton Claims Youngest Son Is No Longer Autistic

by

ABC/ Lou RoccoToni Braxton believes that her youngest son Diezel is cured of autism. “My youngest son, as everyone knows, suffers from autism…or I should say suffered from autism,” she tells Access Hollywood.

“No signs of autism, no signs…he’s our social butterfly. He’s the one who plays with friends and hang out all the time…I’m very, very fortunate and I don’t like to think there’s anything wrong with our babies, I just think they learn differently.”

The R&B singer has talked in the past about her struggle with Diezel’s autism, which is a developmental disorder that occurs in early childhood that makes communication and interaction with others difficult. Braxton was named as a national celebrity spokesperson for leading autism science and advocacy organization Autism Speaks, in 2007.

Braxton’s 18-city tour, titled The Hits Tour, will begin on October 8 in Oakland, California.
