Travis Scott deactivated his Instagram to focus on his family

by

David Livingston/WireImageFollowing rumors that Travis Scott erased his Instagram due to fans mocking his Batman-inspired Halloween costume, the “SICKO MODE” rapper is setting the record straight.

As it turns out, Scott is taking a break from social media in order to focus solely on his family, which consists of partner Kylie Jenner and their two-year-old Stormi Webster.

Complex reports that a person close to the Grammy nominee says the rapper quietly deleted his Instagram over the weekend due to concerns over the state of the country.

Not wanting to be distracted by social media while working to make meaningful change in his community, Scott — real name Jacques Berman Webster II — pulled the plug on his account in hopes of inspiring his fans to do the same.

Previously, fans were led to belief La Flame deleted his Instagram after fans mocked his Halloween costume, of which he was dressed up like Batman but in a chocolate brown costume.

Either way, it’s expected that Webster will return to social media in the future due to the many partnerships he is a part of, such as his deal with Sony to help launch their new PS5 gaming console.

He recently voiced a commercial advertising the new device, which is set to launch in North America on November 12.

In addition to his many partnership deals, fans are heavily speculating that the “Franchise” artist has a new album in the works.

It is unknown exactly when the singer will return to social media.
