Trey Songz has played his final show on the Between the Sheets tour alongside Chris Brown and Tyga.
The singer announced the news late Thursday night in lengthy message on Instagram, along with a video montage of him performing his sexy tune “Foreign.”
“Today is bittersweet for me as it’s my last day on the #BTSTour. I’ve given all I have on stage every night and had the time of my life performing next to one of the greatest entertainers of our time, and more importantly, my friend @chrisbrownofficial I want to THANK all my fans for your continued love, energy, and support,” Trey wrote in the caption.
He continued, “Next up… Europe with my homegirl [Nicki Minaj] on her Pinkprint Tour! We are excited to kick off in Stockholm on 3/16. Sweden see y’all tomorrow!!!!”
Trey’s departure comes a few days shy of Between the Sheets closer in Hampton, Virginia, on March 19. That show was originally planned to kick off the tour in February as a homecoming performance for Trey and Brown, who hail from Virgina, but had to be rescheduled for a time when Trey was committed to Nicki’s tour when Brown had to delay the tour’s start.
