Trey Songz shares new visual for 2020 Riots: How Many Times

by

Atlantic RecordsTrey Songz has shared the visual for his latest single, “2020 Riots: How Many Times.”

The video captures Trey as the hometown hero during a Black Lives Matter weekend of events in Virginia during Father’s Day weekend, earlier this year. The video features photos and video footage from various contributors, which Trey thanks during the ending credits.

The footage shows Trey speaking at the different protests against police brutality and racial inequality. He also found time to lend a helping hand to his community by distributing groceries and essential supplies to keep people safe, while still following social distancing guidelines and wearing masks.

As previously reported, a portion of the proceeds from “2020 Riots: How Many Times'” release will support the Black Lives Matter movement and the Community Justice Exchange’s National Bail Fund Network.

Trey is currently promoting the song’s merch line on Instagram, which features hoodies, long sleeved and short sleeved shirts, masks, and a water bottle with “2020 Riots: How Many Times” written on it.

Earlier this year, Trey dropped a heartwarming, quarantine-style video for his single “Back Home” featuring Summer Walker. In light of COVID-19, the video featured clips of his family and his celebrity friends, including cameo appearances by his 1-year-old son, Noah.
