Trey Songz teases forthcoming collaboration with Chris Brown

by

ABC/Randy HolmesAs much of the Internet continues to debate who to crown the reigning “King of R&B,” Trey Songz and Chris Brown have seemingly weighed in on the matter by teasing their forthcoming joint effort.

On Tuesday night, Trey shared a series of photos alongside the Heartbreak on a Full Moon singer in what appears to be behind-the-scene shots from a music video. “Since 04 with my n***a. I’m just happy to be here,” Trey endearingly captioned one of the Instagram posts.

The other image frames both artists standing side to side as they flaunt their signature grins. The caption includes a response to a running gag between them: “Maurice & I.”

While the Virginia songbirds have collaborated on a few loosies here and there, including “Songs On 12 Play” off of CB’s album, the R&B heavyweights’ joining forces could range anywhere from a joint album to merely a feature on Trey’s next project.

Chris, however, has remained relatively mum on the impending collaboration.
