In a tweet on Wednesday, Leakes asked her followers for some advice that many believe was a cry for help.
“U find out ur husband/boyfriend been talkin on the phone regularly to 1 of ur female employees as ‘just a friend’ but u had no knowledge of it,” Leakes began.
“Did he cross any lines?” she continued. “He said, ‘we never talked sex! I just needed some1 to talk 2.’”
NeNe then concluded her cryptic tweet with the note that she was “askin 4 a friend since y’all know EVERYTHING.”
Of course, fans had plenty of advice for the RHOA alum.
“You need to have that deep conversation with Gregg. Before you jump to conclusions,” responded one fan. “Communication is very important! But, actually listen to what he is saying don’t read anything into your conversation. Pray before you talk to him. Ask GOD to intervene!”
Another alleged NeNe was staging a publicity stunt to get attention for the upcoming season RHOA.
“Sounds like a story line to get you back to being relevant on RHOA and it sounds like another thing they’re putting in there to justify you leaving Greg…you’ve been doing that for quite awhile now,” accused the fan.
Meanwhile, other fans believed that NeNe was actually shading RHOA‘s Porsha Williams, who recently split from her fiance of eight months, Dennis McKinley, with whom she shares her three-month-old daughter Pilar Jenna.
Although it’s not clear who NeNe was tweeting about, the Bravo star has previously discussed leaving Gregg following a series of hardships– including his battle with stage 3 colon cancer.
