Tyrese breaks down in video, pleads to see his daughter: Don’t take my baby

by

ABC/Jeff NeiraTyrese just wants to see his 10-year-old daughter Shayla and has released a tearful video pleading to be allowed to do just that.

The Fate of the Furious star is currently embroiled in a custody battle for Shayla with his ex-wife, Norma Gibson.

In the video, which can be seen on TMZ, the star wears a “Shayla Rocks” hoodie as he breaks down and pleads, “Don’t take my baby” because “this is all I got.”

He also claims that he’s been away from his child for two months, that “no one’s listening because no one’s in the courtroom” and that he’s paying $13,000 a month in child support.

Tyrese also claims in the video that his millionaire friends won’t help him and that because of what his ex has claimed about him, no one wants to hire him for future projects.

As previously reported, the singer-actor is reportedly under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) after Norma claimed he violated a temporary restraining order by flying a banner over his daughter’s school, in addition to sending her gifts.

In October, Tyrese reportedly became the target of a DCFS investigation after Norma claimed he allegedly struck their child.

She’s asked a judge for a permanent restraining order against Tyrese and is seeking full physical and legal custody for Shayla, claiming she fears he might take the girl overseas to Dubai.

Tyrese has denied all allegations.
