Voltron RecordzAs Tyrese released his sixth solo album Black Rose Friday, he had another reason to celebrate. He’ll appear in season two of Empire.
Executive Producer and director Lee Daniels made the announcement on Instagram. He wrote, “Yes! Stop askin!!! #Tyrese is coming on #empireseason2.” No word on which character the Fast & Furious star will portray. He’ll join a growing list of guest stars for the upcoming season including Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Lenny Kravitz, and Chris Rock.
Black Rose features guest appearances by Snoop Dogg, Jennifer Hudson, Brandy, Tank and Chrisette Michele. Tyrese says this will be his final solo album.
