Usher and his girlfriend, music executive Jenn Goicoechea, are expecting their second child together.
Goicoechea shared the exciting news on Instagram after Usher completed his hosting duties at the iHeart Radio Music Awards Thursday night.
“Another one in my @DJkhaled voice #iheartawards,” Goicoechea captioned two photos of herself and Usher cradling her growing baby bump.
This will be Usher and Goicoechea’s second child; they welcomed their eight-month-old daughter, Sovereign Bo, in September. According to photos on Instagram, the couple have known each other since at least 2016 and became romantically involved in 2019.
Usher gushed about his daughter’s “yummy toes” in an interview with Extra earlier this week. The “Bad Habits” singer also revealed the meaning behind his daughter’s name and nickname, which is pronounced like “rainbow.”
“Sovereign… is such a beautiful word and name to me. A supreme ruler is obviously the defined name,” Usher said. “She’s definitely ruling the household. But Sovereign Bo — Bo is at the end of it, so she’s my little reign-bo.”
Usher also shares two sons — Usher Raymond V, 13, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 12 — with his ex-wife Tameka Foster.
