ABC/Fred WatkinsUsher has a new gig.
The “Burn” singer has signed on as creative director for what’s being billed as the first-ever global mobile talent competition, dubbed MEGASTAR.
He’ll also take on job duties as head judge, mentor and investor.
Performers from around the world, in any talent category, are eligible to compete with the winner taking home a million bucks in prize money.
In an official statement, Usher says, “What’s great about MEGASTAR is that it empowers both the Performs and the Fans.”
“It provides talented people a free platform where they can get global exposure without the traditional gatekeepers. It also put the power in the hands of fans to express opinions and make decisions more than ever before.”
