Usher has come up with a unique way to ensure quality shows during his UR Experience tour with August Alsina.  In a behind-the-scenes video feature posted by concert promoter Live Nation, the crooner says working with his long time team of dancers and choreographers is was creates what he calls “the magic” of his performances.

Jamaica Craft, one of his dancers, elaborates, revealing the trick to the group’s performances. “Usher started something with us where we meditate for about 40 minutes before we actually start dancing and that has created a unity with all of us,” she says. “We’ve become more of a family.”

The singer adds that he’s worked tirelessly to ensure a great show. “I promise that there will be some unpredictable moments, special moments. It should feel loose, it should feel fun, it should feel free. It should feel like we’re having a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Usher says before picking up his bejeweled crown and returning to the rehearsal dance floor.

The crooner’s North America trek will travel to Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston and Las Vegas before concluding on December 24 in Tampa. He will then begin a European leg on February 13 in France, wrapping up March 26 in London, England.
