They say it ain’t over until the fat lady sings. Well, in this case, the summer ain’t over until Fat Joe and Ja Rule go hit for hit in a Verzuz battle.
On Thursday, the webcast series, which sees artists go round for round, record for record, announced that the two New York rappers would be next to headline the musical event.
Alongside an Instagram post sharing a flyer of the battle, Verzuz wrote, “Summer ain’t over!! @FATJOE VS @JARULE.”
The Verzuz between the two will go down live in New York City, with tickets going on sale starting September 7. As always, fans can also choose to stream the event through the Triller app, the Fite TV app, or on the Verzuz Instagram Live feed.
