According to Billboard, the hour-long special, which featured performances from Mariah Carey, Vanessa Williams, Patti LaBelle and Chaka Khan, brought in two million viewers, making it its highest-rated Divas show in more than a decade.
The show, which made a comeback after a four-year hiatus, also managed to become a trending topic on Twitter.
VH1 and Logo’s executive vice president Amy Doyle also hinted at a possible Vh1 Divas Holidays in 2017.
“We set out to start a new holiday tradition, and based on the early feedback, it seems like we’ve accomplished that!” she told Billboard.
