ABC/Paula LoboThe music video for Ashanti‘s single, “Say Less,” is finally here and available to view on YouTube.
The visual opens with the singer having a moment of reflection, looking stunning in white.
Narration from a TV anchor is soon heard, referencing past allegations and a beef, including a claim that the singer pulled a woman’s hair out, along with footage from her November 2017 interview with Joe Budden on Complex News’ Everyday Struggle in which the two got into a debate about her onstage clothing.
However, Ashanti proves throughout the rest of the video that she’s still living her best life and that people need to simply, well, say less.
“Say Less” also features Ty Dolla $ign, who makes an appearance in the music video as well.
Ashanti made several announcements about the arrival of the visual on social media Friday.
She posted the song’s cover art on Instagram, which shows the sultry artist covering herself by wearing a huge yellow-and-black checkered purse, and what appears to be very little else.
“Say Less” ft. @tydollasign out Now!!! @vevo & Everywhere!!!” she writes in the caption.
“Say Less” is available to purchase via the usual digital platforms.
