VevoH.E.R. has an early Christmas present for her fans. She just released a live video version of “Slide” on Tuesday.
Recorded in New York City, the two-time Grammy performs the song on guitar, accompanied by a keyboard player, bassist and percussionist.
The single, featuring YG, was originally dropped in September. H.E.R. debuted the track during her inaugural Lights On Festival in Concord, California. The show on September 14 also featured Jhené Aiko, Daniel Caesar, Summer Walker, Ari Lennox and many more.
In November, H.E.R., born Gabriella Wilson, won the Soul Train Award for Best R&B/Soul Female Artist. She’s up for five Grammys: Record of the Year and Song of the Year, for “Hard Place,” Album of the Year for I Used to Know Her, plus Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song for “Could’ve Been.”
