In an interview obtained by TMZ, Williams was asked about her family’s condition following her filing for divorce and her son’s recent arrest.

“Young Kevin and I are fine,” Williams said while sitting next to a mystery man in a car — likely the same man she posted about recently on Instagram.

“Big [Kevin], Godspeed. Sometimes in life stuff happens and it’s OK,” she continued. “I still got a very full life that I really adore. Please don’t make me cry.”

“I didn’t plan on this but it is what it is… I have a very full life,” she said with tears running down her face. “Thank you for watching. I would ask you to respect our privacy, but please, I don’t respect people’s privacy, that’s why I do [the segment] ‘Hot Topics’ so turnabout is a fair game. All three of us are doing fine.”

Williams went on to say that also said that although she and her ex aren’t looking to reconcile, they will still suppor their son.

“[My son] Kevin’s gotta graduate from college. He’s going into his sophomore year,” she explained. “He’s going to get married or whatever, he’s going to celebrate. Yes! Everyone’s gotta grow up.”

Williams also made clear that both father and son weren’t at odds, either.

“They’re not apart,” she said. “You know stuff happens in life.”

As previously reported, Williams filed for divorce from Kevin Sr. in April after nearly 23 years of marriage. Hunter is requesting spousal support, as well as child support for Kevin Hunter Jr., who is turning 19 in August.
