American Sign Language interpreter Justina Miles went viral for her interpretation of “B**** Better Have My Money” at Super Bowl LVII, earning praise from many, including Rihanna.

In an interview with Gayle King on CBS MorningsJustina said she received from a DM from the singer following their performance.

“I did not get a chance to meet her, but she did DM me,” she said. “She was like, ‘Black queen, you’re amazing. We’re BFFs in my head, you were amazing!’ It was beautiful.”

Miles became the first deaf woman to serve as an interpreter for the Super Bowl when she took the field Sunday. She revealed she got the halftime set list just five days before the show, but felt confident after realizing she already knew the selected tracks.

“I got it and I’m like, ‘I know all the songs,'” Justina said. “I was confident. I looked over the lyrics, made sure I got all the meanings right.” Since she can hear to a certain extent, she “memorized the lyrics and the beat, so that way I can sign the lyrics and move to the beat so [viewers] can see the beat rather than hear the beat.”

Then she took the stage, and the rest is history.

One thing, however, that took Justina by surprise was Rihanna’s pregnancy reveal. “We practiced in the same vicinity — she did not look pregnant!” she said. “I found out after.”
