As jury selection for Young Thug‘s RICO trial is underway, the rapper’s facing accusations that he took part in a drug deal during a recent court appearance.

According to WSB-TV‘s Michael Seiden, prosecutors alleged that co-defendant Kahlieff Adams walked over to Thug and gave him a handshake, during which he allegedly handed him some drugs.

“Prosecutors say the surveillance shows Adams walk over to where Young Thug is seated with his attorney and then drop a Percocet in his hand,” Seiden tweeted. “A deputy confronts Young Thug and he turns over the pill to authorities.”

Deputies then searched Adams, who was discovered with “Percocet, marijuana and tobacco wrapped in plastic and food seasonings to conceal the odor of weed,” the tweet continued. He had more contraband, but he allegedly ingested some to “conceal the extent of his crimes within the courtroom.” He was rushed to Grady Hospital, which resulted in court shutting down that day.

Thug’s attorney Keith Adams argued that his client was unaware of the co-defendant’s plans.
