Starz announced on Tuesday that Wu-Tang rapper Method Man has been officially cast in the series. The artist, born Clifford Smith Jr., will star as Davis Maclean, a “highly motivated attorney” who is brilliant, but ethically challenged. Maclean is said to have “a few secrets of his own” and the “only thing he’s really addicted to is winning.”

Meanwhile, Blige will star as a major player in New York City’s underworld.

For hip-hop fans, the two artists coming together sparks memories of Method Man’s epic “All I Need” remix with Blige. The track, released in 1994 on Method’s Tical album, peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1995. The two later scored the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1996.

As previously reported, Power Book II: Ghost will “continue the journey” of some of Power‘s “most controversial characters,” according to Kemp and 50.
