Zonnique shares advice from André 3000 to carve out her own music career

Scott Dudelson/Getty ImagesZonnique, the stepdaughter of T.I. and daughter of Tiny, is reinventing herself as an artist, with advice from hip-hop legend André 3000.

“André 3000 told me and my friends when we were in OMG Girlz to always bring something different to the picnic because people always want something different,” Zonnique told HotNewHipHop. “You don’t want to be the same as anyone else. Bring something different, something outrageous to the picnic table.”

Zonnique currently stars on VH1’s T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle. She spent her teen years as a member of the OMG Girlz trio, including Lil Wayne‘s daughter, Reginae Carter. The group members agreed to go solo in 2015, leading to Zonnique’s grown and sexy EP, Love Jones, in 2017.

Fans will be happy to know Zonnique is gearing up to release a new project soon, featuring songs about love and relationships — a topic her stepfather T.I. doesn’t handle too well, based on his past statements and online posts.

Until then, enjoy Zonnique’s latest singles, “#FTCU and “Winner.”
