Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in prison following his conviction on two prostitution-related charges.
He will receive credit for the 12 months he has already served at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest.
Before the judge announced the sentence, Combs tearfully apologized in court, stating, “I’ve been humbled and broken to my core.”
Federal prosecutors pushed for a sentence of at least 11 years, while Combs’ defense team requested no more than 14 months.
