The Gospel community is not here for Wendy Williams after she disrespected legendary Gospel group The Clark Sisters on her show while talking about Snoop Dogg’s gospel album which the Clarks appear on.
“If I were The Clark Sisters, would I be mad that Snoop got #1, The Clark Sisters they’ve been doing Gospel forever have they gotten #1, Oh well, step up your game,” Wendy said.
For the record, the sisters’ last album “The Clark Sisters Live…One Last Time” which was released in 2007 was #1 for TWO WEEKS on the Billboard Gospel charts. That album featured the song “Blessed and Highly Favored” which was #1 for SEVEN WEEKS on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart, the song also spent SEVEN WEEKS at #1 on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart. All of this can be verified at Billboard.com.
By the way…the song “Blessed and Highly Favored” is the song that Snoop Dogg features on his album “Snoop Dogg Presents: Bible of Love.”
