ABC is launching a new “Grey’s Anatomy” spinoff in rural West Texas, with Shonda Rhimes and Meg Marinis behind it and Ellen Pompeo still on board as executive producer.
The show will follow a medical team in a West Texas clinic, giving fans a fresh setting while keeping the heartfelt drama the series is known for. Set to air midseason 2027, it’s the fourth spinoff in the franchise.
It won’t focus on any characters from the original show, but fans can expect the same emotional storytelling that makes “Grey’s Anatomy” so popular.
