I watched OWN-TV’s “Fix My Life” last night in horror as Olympic Champion Skater Debi Thomas revealed to the world where her life journey has taken her. Iyanla did get to the root of the problem, offered assistance but couldn’t fix Debi, the first African American female to earn an Olympic medal in figure skating. Debi’s situation is not uncommon, and it is apparent that she needs to get rid of that man!!! Many choose to stay in an abusive relationsip rather than be alone. I can only pray for her recovery.
