Investigators say that the suspects who shot Boston Red Sox’s David Ortiz in the Dominican Republic over the weekend were paid roughly $7,800 U.S. dollars for the hit. Six people are currently in custody and one suspect still remains at large in Sunday’s shooting. Ortiz was shot in the stomach while at a nightclub.
