Police are investigating the killing of a man Friday night at Atera apartments, 4600 block of Cedar Springs Road in the Turtle Creek area. Police were flagged down around 10:30 pm and witnesses pointed officers to a man on the ground with multiple gunshots and saw a silver four-door sedan speeding out of the parking lot. According to Law and Crime dot com the victim is Botham Jean’s neighbor that testified in the trial against Amber Guyger. Joshua Brown, the next door neighbor of Jean and a key witness in the trial testified for the prosecution. Lee Merritt, the attorney for Botham Jean’s family confirmed the sad new. Merritt said Brown was living in “constant fear” that he could be a victim of gun violence.
