(AP Photo/Ashley Landis) Idris Elba is set to direct and star in a new survival thriller. ‘Above the Below’ started filming last week at Pinewood Studios on two stages, including the studio’s underwater stage. Elba will star alongside actress and filmmaker Caitlin FitzGerald and Hero Fiennes Tiffin. The flick sees a tight-knit trio of astronauts survive a destructive re-entry to Earth, only to find themselves cut off from the world and sinking into the unknown depths of the ocean.
