Joe Jackson Dead at 89. Michael Jackson’s father Joe Jackson has died. He had terminal cancer. Katherine Jackson and his along with some of his children and grandchildren were by his side when he died. We all know Joe Jackson as the father who kicked behind and it was not always good. He was the driving force behind the early success of the Jackson 5 who later became The Jacksons. Rest in Peace Joe Jackson.
