Mariah Carey Moves Her Catalog to ASCAP

Mariah Carey’s 30 years of music will now be a part of ASCAP. Carey’s music will now be managed by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers and it includes her number one hit, “All I Want For Christmas.”
The publishing for the holiday hit along with other songs of Carey’s will be controlled by ASCAP, something Mariah says she’s “excited to be a part of.”
Carey wrote 18 of her 19 number one songs and will be inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in New York in June. Wow I didn’t realize she wrote so many songs…
