Colin Kaepernick has donated $100,000 to the Know Your Rights Camp COVID-19 Relief Fund. Kaepernick released a video on Thursday explaining his donation.
“Black and brown communities are being disproportionately devastated by COVID-19 because of hundreds of years of structural racism,” said Kaepernick.
In states like Louisiana and Wisconsin, 70 percent of Black Americans have died even though only 30 percent of residents are African-American.
