Tyler Perry was honored by the People’s Choice Awards with the People’s Champion Award.
Perry gave an inspiring acceptance speech that encouraged people to not give up, even when it seems that things may not work in their favor, “There are people who are tied to your dream and your destiny, and you are worthy of getting to your goal. Keep digging, don’t stop,” Perry shared.
Perry opened his movie studio in Atlanta where he produces his various television shows and movies. In September Tyler Perry joined the one billion dollar club. According to Forbes, Perry earned more than $1.4 billion in pretax income since 2005 and added him to the billionaire’s list.
P!nk was awarded the People’s Champion Award at the People’s Choice Awards in 2019.
