Vogue magazine received a lot of criticism for their February cover featuring Vice President Kamala Harris. Many felt the cover was too casual and diminished Harris’s achievement. While Converse sneakers have become synonymous with the VP’s style many thought for Vogue the cover needed to be more glamorous. Anna Wintour defended the cover saying the simplicity of the cover reflected the times we currently live in. There was a second cover that was used for the digital issue that many preferred. A spokesperson for Vogue said, In recognition of the enormous interest in the digital cover and in celebration of this historic moment we will be publishing a limited number of special edition inaugural issues. Now that time has passed, how do you feel about the Vogue cover? Do you have a preference between the two covers? Do you still want to see a more ‘typical glamorous’ Vogue cover or do you prefer the business look for the Vice President?
