The Recording Academy announced some major changes in its voting process. This included the elimination of their controversial “secret” nomination review committees.  They released a statement that said, “Nominations in all of the GRAMMY Award general and genre fields will now be determined by a majority, peer-to-peer vote of voting members of the Recording Academy.”  They added, “With this change, the results of GRAMMY nominations and winners are placed back in the hands of the entire voting membership body, giving further validation to the peer-recognized process.”  Much attention was brought to that “secret committee” when The Weeknd announced he would boycott the award show due to that committee and how things were chosen.   There have been several other artists who have complained about the voting process in the past.   How do you think Grammy winners should be chosen?
