By now you’ve heard that Barack Obama’s 60th birthday party was attended by many high-profile celebrities. One of the celebs who attended the party is apologizing for being a “terrible guest.” Erykah Badu tweeted her apology to the former president and first lady writing, “Mr and Mrs Obama, please forgive me for being the “terrible guest “ at such a sacred event for your family. I was so inconsiderate, thank you for all your love. What an example of ‘how not ‘ to be, erica.”
The apology received mixed reactions online, with some feeling there was no need for an apology others felt the veteran singer should know that recording such a sacred event is off-limits.
Others praised the “Call Tyrone” singer for having integrity. “Good for you Erykah you have integrity. You are woman enough to apologize. The people saying don’t apologize don’t understand integrity,” tweeted @ReneeRevelation.
Do you think Erykah Badu was wrong for recording at Barack Obama’s 60th birthday party?
