Black Hollywood was stunned to hear of the passing of former “The Wire” actor Michael K. Williams’ death.

Celebrities took to Twitter with condolences for the actor, who was found by his nephew in his Brooklyn apartment, dead from an apparent heroin overdose.

Williams’ castmates from The Wire and many others shared their memories but it was a post from 50 Cent that had everyone talking and Twitter users calling for his cancellation, yet again.

50 posted the New York Post’s article about Williams’ death with a caption that read: “Damn if you didn’t see Raising Kanan check it out,” he captioned the post. “that fentanyl is no joke, killing the clientele. RIP michael k. Williams.”

Several called out the rapper/actor for his distasteful post and felt using Williams’ death to promote his show was out of order.

What do you think of 50’s comments on Michael K. Williams’ death?
