I really hope this is not true. Rumors have been swirling that Wendy Williams is dealing with early-onset dementia. The former deejay and host of the Wendy Williams show has been putting her health first while the show has been filling in with guest hosts for over a month.
According to Williams’ brother, Thomas Williams, there is nothing that leads him to believe that Wendy suffered from the neurological disease. “We haven’t had any alerts like that and I haven’t seen anything like that or have had conversations with her that would lead me to believe that,” Thomas told The Sun.
Wendy was hospitalized earlier this year when she had a psychiatric evaluation. Fans as well as the parent company of the Wendy Williams Show, Debmar-Mercury, hope that Wendy gets better soon but want her to focus on her health first, saying, “As soon as she’s ready, she will be back in her treasured purple chair.” Wow…
