Chris Rock may have a hosting gig. Word is Chris is being considered to host The Oscars next year in 2023! ABC President Chris Erich says he is certainly open to the idea. Next year’s show will be held in March. Ratings for the award show this year was up 58% with 16.6 million viewers watching the show, compared to last year’s 9.8%. These ratings were solid “before” the famous slap. It’s a credit to Will Packard (who is African American) and his team for producing the show this year and hats off to Wanda Skyes, Regina Hall, and Amy Schumer for the great hosting job they did. If Chris agrees, he won’t have to worry about Will Smith, since Will has been banned from the Oscars for the next 10 years…
