Herman Cain Dies After Battle With Corona Virus

Herman Cain

ABC News has confirmed that 2012 Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain died Thursday morning after a month-long battle with Coronavirus.  He was 74.  Cain was a respected food executive who ran the Godfathers Pizza franchise from 1986 to 1996; he claimed that his leadership saved the company from bankruptcy.  Cain later joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1989, later becoming chairman.  After his race to hold the 2012 Republican nomination, Cain later became a vocal Trump supporter.  He was a Black Voice for Trump co-chair, attending the president’s June 20th rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He was photographed not wearing a mask, writing in an op-ed later “the media worked very hard to scare people out of attending” the rally in Tulsa.  A Cain spokesman told ABC News “There is no way of knowing for sure how or where Mr. Cain contracted the Coronavirus.”  Herman Cain was 74.  Do you remember Herman Cain’s presidential campaign?  Should Cain have worn a mask at the Tulsa rally?
