Doctors all over the world are feeling overworked due to the Coronavirus pandemic. There is currently a campaign called, “Stay Home: Save Lives” that many medical personnel are participating in hoping that people will heed the warning to stay home.
Medical workers began posting pictures of themselves wearing gloves and face masks while holding signs saying: “I stayed at work for you, you stay at home for us.”
According to Emergency physician Leana Wen, “We are currently facing the biggest public health crisis of our lifetimes. But we are not powerless against the virus: there are things we can do.”
The point is simple, remember that there are medical professionals that are sacrificing their families and themselves to combat COVID-19, the least we can do is thank them by staying home.
