According to TMZ, prosecutors aren’t feeling Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, serving his home confinement time in a mansion.
The feds note it’s in a “gated affluent community” with a pool, Nicki’s music studio, and a beautifully landscaped backyard — not their idea of crime and punishment.

In the court documents, it said Petty kept up with registering as a sex offender for 20 years until he met and married Nicki. The docs stated, “Defendant began dating his wife, quit his job, moved to Los Angeles, and adopted an affluent lifestyle.”

Petty told the court he didn’t know the requirements to register upon leaving NY state. Federal prosecutors in California recommend 15 months in prison, 5 years of supervised release, and $55K in restitution. The judge decides on sentencing on July 6.
