Questlove Denies Allegations

by

Questlove

Questlove called a racial discrimination lawsuit against him and NBC “ridiculous.”
The suit says Questlove and the network were responsible for two former Tonight Show cameramen being fired. Kurt Decker and Michael Cimino said they received an unsolicited racial text message but didn’t respond to it. They reported the incident to management but were fired. They think Questlove was behind them being removed.
A statement said, “Questlove denies the ridiculous allegations made in this lawsuit. Racism is REAL and exists throughout the world and for these gentlemen to claim victim is not only disrespectful to Questlove and his band mates, but to all that truly endure racism on a daily basis. As NBC already stated, the decisions made regarding these employees were made by NBC, alone.”
Questlove is the drummer for The Roots. Mark Kelley who is also a part of the group allegedly received the same text but did not get any disciplinary action.
This all sounds strange. Who sent the text in the first place? Why didn’t they get fired?
