We knew it was coming. Rachel Dolezal stepped down from her position as Spokane’s NAACP president Monday, days after her biological parents said she is white.
I have never seen a situation like this in my life and really don’t know what to say. With all of social media, the blogs, and television throwing jokes, and judging her, I just wonder, what made her step away from her race, what kind of relationship she had growing up, and how her parents treated her.
What her journey was to become head of a Black organization like the Spokane NAACP, who were the people in her life that supported her, and what she did to her skin color to look like she does today. I’m just saying so many questions, and no answers… I guess I will have to wait for the movie to come out to see. Who do you think should play Rachel?
