Usher will headline a benefit in honor of Rep. John Lewis.
The event named the “Beloved Benefit,” was supposed to take place back in February, but was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns. The concert is scheduled for July 7 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
NBC Sports host and correspondent Maria Taylor will host the event and there will be stories of inspiration throughout the evening.
The money from the event will go to charities that benefit economic and community development.
