Vanilla Ice Hosting July 4th Concert in Texas

Despite Coronavirus cases rising in Texas a Lake Travis restaurant in Texas is hosting a Fourth of July concert starring Vanilla Ice.
Texas Governor, Greg Abbott has shut down bars and clubs and has reduced restaurants to 50 percent capacity, which is why Emerald Bar and Grill will be able to host the throwback event.
The concert is expected to bring 2,500 people to the lakeside restaurant and Vanilla Ice seems excited to get back to work, “The 90s were the best. We didn’t have coronavirus, or cell phones, or computers. We had 5.0’s, blockbuster, Beavis and Butthead, Wayne’s World, Chris Tucker, and Jackie Chan … Mortal Kombat is still better than Fortnight … the last of the great decades,” Ice wrote on Instagram about the event.
90s group Color Me Badd is also set to perform over the weekend. Masks are being required in some Texas cities, however, we’ll have to wait and see if people actually use masks while dancing to “Ice Ice Baby.”
Do you think having a concert of 2,500 people is irresponsible given the surge in Coronavirus cases in Texas or do you think everyone is responsible for themselves and they should be able to attend?
