She talked about dumpster diving for food with her 5 siblings and boys throwing rocks ate her for being Black.
She also talked about the physical and mental abuse her mother endured at the hands of her father.
Her mother stayed with her father for 48 years until he died in 2006 due to pancreatic cancer.
Viola said she healed her relationship with her father before he died.
She said her legacy is forgiving her father.
