The highly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic, directed by Antoine Fuqua, is facing a likely delay and may not be released before April 1, 2026. During an earnings call, Lionsgate’s CEO announced the film’s expected shift out of the fiscal year.
The biopic, which stars Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, making his acting debut, has a production budget of $155 million and features a star-studded cast including Colman Domingo and Nia Long.
