Rapper Meek Mill may be released from jail this Monday. T.I. posted a message about it on Instagram. But that’s not why he may be released. Meek was visited by Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney. He was invited to visit Meek by Philadelphia 76ers owner Michael Rubin. The mayor’s spokesperson said, “He] believes [Mill] would better serve the community outside of prison, and that his case makes clear and urgent the desperate need to continue working with our partners to reform the criminal justice system.” More here.
