Everyone loves the product of a Shonda Rhimes and Kerry Washington collaboration, and luckily they’re teaming up yet again. Kerry Washington is starring in a new play that brings to life the story of race and law enforcement in America, titled American Son. American Son is written by Christopher Demos-Brown and Steven Pasquale plays Washington’s co-star.
In addition to Shonda Rhimes & Kerry Washington, some Black Hollywood A-listers are also on board as producers for the play which include Gabrielle Union, Dwayne Wade, Jada Pinkett Smith, Steve Stoute, and Washington’s husband, Nnamdi Asomugha.
